We are extremely excited to be the first in Malaysia and one of the first few airlines in the world to offer this new service on WhatsApp.
This new platform is offered in addition to the airline’s traditional methods of communication of email and SMS. The airline’s official presence on WhatsApp allows customers to receive flight booking confirmation and flight status directly through the messaging app.įuture plans include the addition of more services enabling passengers to receive important updates via WhatsApp. The national carrier is the first airline in Malaysia and one of the world’d early adopters to integrate the WhatsApp Business solution.
The addition is their latest digital initiative, joining recently announced solutions, MHguardian, MHfeedback and MHchat. Malaysia Airlines is now on WhatsApp since 3rd September 2018, the first airline in Malaysia to introduce this service.
